Type-R civic (EP3) Vs Peugeot 306

The last video revealed how quick the 306 was going up hill on Buckstone pass. Using some of the only footage of the Type-R we have, we can compare the two. I know its a rather  random section of the road and it seems weird timing the run using a post and a patch of gravel as the start/finish marker. But this is due to the fact that we only had  footage of the Type-R in-between these two points.

Chris’s 306 flying uphill on Buckstone Pass

Here is the first and last video of Chris’s 306 At the famous Buckstone going uphill at night. I’ll do a video showing the diffrents between the 306 and Type-R shortly.

Type-R is still flooding my thoughts and the MR2 write-off is finally official.

Yes an entire month after the accident and my car is finally and officially a write off. The official part of it means other such parties like the GAP insurance can now come into play and before too long the MR2 will be completely paid off leaving my bank account free from any out goings. So a new car shouldn’t be too far away at all. That’s nice! (let me just take a pic with my web-cam brb)

That might be an idea for what I’m aiming for. Although its widely agreed this model should have been alittle quicker, theres still no dening its a much better car than my old EP3. So I have taken it into my own hands and a few performance parts have been thrown into the budget. That what I can enjoy the modern updated Type-R with the performance increase it should have had to start with.
